Bus Information

Carrara Markets run a subsidised bus service on Saturday and Sunday that runs from the top of Surfers Paradise, via Pacific Fair Shopping Centre to the Markets, and back again. The service runs hourly from designated pick-up points and you are welcome to meet any bus on the timetable, booking is not necessary. Our buses return hourly from the Markets and will drop you at any stop on our timetable you require. Buses are regular Surfside Bus Company buses and will have a 'SPECIAL' sign on the top of the bus and a 'CARRARA MARKETS' sign in the front windscreen. The service costs $1 per person return fare, children under 5 years of age travel at no charge.

• At the bus stop in front of Appel Park, beside the pink elephant.

• At the bus stop on the footpath in front of the resort.

MARRIOT HOTEL (8.03am, 9.03am, 10.03am, 11.03am, 12.03pm, 1.03pm)
• There is no bus stop here but the bus will stop out the front of the Marriot Hotel, please wait on the footpath.

AARONS APARTMENTS & RED ROOSTER (8.05am, 9.05am, 10.05am, 11.05am, 12.05pm, 1.05pm)
• There is no recognised bus stop here but our bus will pick up outside the two phone boxes between these two points.

HOLIDAY INN (8.08am, 9.08am, 10.08am, 11.08am, 12.08pm, 1.08pm)
• At the bus stop beside the hotel on the Gold Coast Highway.
• In front of the Carinya Café.

DOLPHIN ARCADE (8.10am, 9.10am, 10.10am, 11.10am, 12.10pm, 1.10pm)
• At the bus stop in front of the arcade on the Gold Coast Highway.

• At the bus stop on the same side as Legends Hotel.

• At the bus stop on the corner of Thornton St and the Gold Coast Highway.

• At the bus stop in front of the Caltex Service Station, on the corner of Australia Ave and the Gold Coast Highway.

• At the bus stop on Surf Pde, in front of the hotel.

• At the bus stop underneath the car park, on the same side as the shops.
• Next to the purple poles, in front of the taxi rank.

• The buses leave from the same point they dropped you aff at, that is the carpark/bus area on the southern side of the main shed.
